Boulder Valley Gifted and Talented was established in 2007 to assist and support gifted individuals in developing their talents, strengths, and abilities. BVGT offers frequent educational programs for parents and teachers of gifted children. BVGT advocates steadfastly for educational support and programming for gifted students by increasing awareness of the nature and needs of gifted student.
Boulder Valley Gifted and Talented is a local affiliate of the statewide Colorado Association of Gifted and Talented (CAGT). CAGT sponsors an annual conference for parents and educators as well as an annual Parent Institute and an annual Legislative Day for students.
Colorado Association of Gifted and Talented is the state affiliate of the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC), with a membership of over 8,000 nationwide. Nationally and internationally known experts in the field of gifted education present research and expertise to parents, teachers, and administrators. NAGC provides guidelines and standards for exemplary gifted programs.

Boulder Valley Gifted and Talented is an advocacy organization that advocates for issues/needs of TAG individuals in general. We cannot advocate on behalf of a specific child or family.
BVGT respects the privacy of its members and will not share membership lists or contact information with anyone outside the BVGT or CAGT community.
