Terry Bradley, President - president@bvgt.org Terry is the TAG Educational Advisor at Fairview High School, specializing in the social and emotional aspects of giftedness. She has a Master's Degree in Gifted Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Terry is the former Chair of the State Advisory Committee for Gifted and Talented and serves on the board of the Colorado Association of Gifted and Talented (CAGT).

Anne Burkholder, Treasurer - treasurer@bvgt.org Anne is the TAG Educational Advisor at Eisenhower Elementary School in Boulder. Science, math, robotics and chess are some areas of interest stemming from her background in molecular biology and scientific research.

Rebecca received her BA in Psychology & Elementary Education from UMASS Amherst in 1995 and her MA in Education from Stanford University in 1997. She has been a classroom teacher, TAG teacher and literacy interventionist California and Colorado. She spent 5 years as a national trainer of teachers for the Developmental Studies Center, an educational non-profit. She loves spending time with her 4 year old daughter and enjoys reading, singing, dancing and running.

Becky Whittenburg, Board Member at Large - boardmember@bvgt.org Becky is the parent of (grown) gifted children, and she has worked in the field of gifted education for more than 20 years. She is currently the Gifted Education Resource Specialist for the Boulder Valley School District. She works on various GT committees and conducts presentations at the local, state, and national levels regarding various aspects of giftedness and gifted education.

Jennifer Barr, Board Member at Large bmember@bvgt.org Jennifer has been the Coordinator of Advanced Academic Services in BVSD since 2004. She has a MA in literature and film from Texas State University in San Marcos and a Gifted and Talented endorsement through the University of Denver. In May, 2010, she completed an Administrative Leadership and Policy Studies Principal Licensure Program at the University of Colorado, Denver graduating with an Ed. S. with a focus in leadership for gifted and talented education.

Lynette Zickerman - Programming Chair - programming@bvgt.org Lynette is currently the BVGT Parent-Liaison for Superior Elementary and the PTA TAG Representative for Superior Elementary. She has a BA in Communication from the University of Colorado, Boulder. For the past five years, Lynette has used her experience editing books and other business educational materials to work with elementary school students on literacy. Prior to that, Lynette spent 13 years as a sales and marketing executive in the professional services industry. During that time, she produced semi-annual corporate conferences, booking speakers, creating conference materials as well as handling all event logistics. Additionally, she has produced numerous Business Leadership conferences, obtaining speakers from various industries to educate and assist business owners.
Lisa Turner, Membership Chair - membership@bvgt.org
Lisa Turner is a parent, teacher and community member of Boulder Valley School District. She has been teaching in BVSD since 1989. She is currently teaching middle school at Aspen Creek K-8 in Broomfield. After graduating with a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Lisa moved to Colorado and taught skiing for eight years. She then completed her teaching certificate and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from C.U., Boulder. Most recently, she received her Certification in Gifted and Talented from the University of Denver and is an endorsed Colorado PK-12 Specialist in Gifted and Talented. Lisa has two gifted sons, one graduated from Centaurus and the other is attending Broomfield H.S. Passion towards making sure that gifted students’ social, emotional and academic needs are met drives Lisa in her day-to-day work as a parent, teacher and community member.
Jocelyn Gebhardt, Hospitality Chair - hospitality@bvgt.org Jocelyn has worked for many years at the Tattered Cover Bookstore and keeps our board abreast of new releases and excellent children's literature. She has two gifted sons, one in high school and one in college.
Rosa Medina, Liaison to the Spanish Speaking Community spanish@bvgt.org
Rosa is Peruvian. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and her M.A. in Education from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She moved to the U.S. in 1997 and has two children attending BVSD schools. She does Spanish interpretations for BVSD. Rosa is very interested in helping Spanish speaking families understand their gifted children and find appropriate resources to help them thrive. Rosa is also certified to run SENG (Supporting the Emotional Needs of the Gifted) groups. She can be contacted at 720-544-7069.
Cindy Outlaw, Parent Liason parents@bvgt.org Cindy is the mom of two young boys who attend BVSD schools. Prior to being a mom, she attended Vanderbilt University, earning a BA in Economics and Sociology (1993) and MBA (1997). She worked in the healthcare, software and consulting industries. She enjoys time with her guys and animals, music, jogging, reading and heading to the hills.
