Join us on April 10, 2024 for a FREE video screening of Dr. Karen Arnstein’s “The Gifted/2e Journey – The Parent’s Perspective,” part of the Conversations with CAGT series. Using recent research and real examples, the video explores how parents of gifted and/or twice-exceptional (2e) children navigate finding the right educational fit as well as their children’s relationships. The video will be followed by Q&As with Deb Darnell, BVGT Board Member/Parent Liaison Coordinator. Light refreshments will be provided.


Dr. Karen Arnstein is a consultant, speaker, and author dedicated to helping teachers and school districts identify and serve twice-exceptional learners. She received her doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction in Gifted Education from the University of Denver. Prior to this, she worked with K-12 students and teachers for over a decade. Dr. Arnstein is a core faculty member with Bridges Graduate School of Cognitive Diversity in Education and serves as Secretary of the Board for SENG (Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gift).

Deb Darnell is a BVGT Board Member and Parent Liaison Coordinator with over 20 years working with GT students.
