Pre group: Purchase book, and read pages 7-57 for meeting one.

Meeting One: Discussion will follow reading selection (pages 7-57), and include: domains and characteristics of giftedness, Dabrowski’s Theory of Positive Disintegration, dynamics of gifted families.

Meeting Two: Discussion will follow reading selection (pages 58-108), and include: understanding and working with gifted intensity, empathy, perfectionism, and fortifying parent practices to support healthy parent/child relationship, and gifted child/family development.
