2e Roundtable Discussion with Marni Kammersell

  • Events

Join other parents and educators for support and community with BVGT! As an encore to Marni Kammersell’s highly acclaimed presentation this fall on giftedness through the lens of neurodivergence, we invite you to continue the conversation. Marni will provide a brief overview followed by an open roundtable discussion. Topics will in large part be driven by participant interests and questions and may include resources to support your child and family, neurodiversity considerations in the school environment, overexcitabilities, identification, and more. No particular identification or official diagnosis is needed in order to participate in this event, “just gifted” or 2e curious families are welcome!

Marni Kammersell is a local education consultant, parent to three neurodivergent and twice-exceptional children, and current doctoral student at the Bridges Graduate School of Cognitive Diversity in Education. You can learn more about her work, including writings and podcasts, at https://wanderingbrightly.com/.

Sunday, February 23, 2025, 2:00-3:30pm at the Louisville Public Library Meeting Room

Light refreshments will be provided. Newcomers are welcome; you need not have attended Marni’s earlier presentation to participate.
