Are you interested in connecting with other families with gifted students? Whether or not your children have been formally identified as gifted and talented (GT), we would love to share resources, answer your questions, and provide engaging opportunities for your kiddos to interact with other GT kiddos. Our “playdates” offer opportunities to play board games, do STEM activities, share favorite books, go on a nature scavenger hunt, do arts and crafts, take tours, and more. We welcome all families in or near Boulder County, including those whose children attend private schools or are home schooled.
The playdates tend to be best for kindergarteners through middle schoolers. Teens who are willing to help out can receive community service credit! Their tasks might include helping set up and clean up, greeting guests, playing games with younger children, encouraging them to build or create something, and talking to parents about their experience as a gifted student.
Questions? Suggestions? Want to help plan and/or run a playdate? Want to arrange to volunteer? Please contact Sarah at [email protected].
